Developing a prototype building for liveable, high-density urban environments

Can a building reshape urban design? Transsion – a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer – envisions its future Shenzhen HQ as a prototype for liveable high-density cities. We explored this vision by reimagining buildings as adaptable green platforms, enabling activities across commerce, work, culture and more. Infused with technology, these spaces become dynamic stages for expression. Our proposal, presented to Shenzhen’s mayor, underscores Transsion's ambition to shape sustainable cityscapes.

Creating a documentary video series exploring future living

At the helm of FRAME, Robert Thiemann collaborated with Huawei’s Milan Aesthetic Research Center on Tomorrow Living, a docu-series exploring how technology is reshaping future living. Featuring insights from 30 experts across design, architecture, art and science, the four-part series examines how residences can become more responsive to human needs while reducing environmental impact. It also explores intelligent technology as a key enabler, presenting innovative scenarios for a mixed-reality future.
